The House That Jack Built - Immersive Theatre Series
Jack, once the subject of fairy tales, now a legend, has opened his house in Lochhaven, Norfolk for public tours.
The little boy with a plumb on his thumb, grew to be a beanstalk climbing, giant killing architect, and, some say, a rather dangerous person. You are invited to visit the legendary Lochhaven estate that was the culmination of his life’s work. Wear comfortable shoes as you will traverse stairs and climb through portals exploring the eerie magic left behind in The House that Jack Built.
Patrick Mullins’ lauded immersive theatrical installations continue at the Hermitage Museum and Gardens with this mysteriously whimsical exploration of what we build and what we leave behind.

A themed signature cocktail and drinks will be available for purchase each evening.

Important Information:
Guests should expect to be standing/walking for 60 minutes; some scenes will require climbing stairs. Each evening’s performance lasts up to three hours. Early entry times are recommended for those who want the maximum amount of time to explore. While in The House that Jack Built, guests may experience personal interactions with its residents. Some of those interactions may be emotional. We greatly value consent and safety at Jack’s House, and we reserve the right to turn away anyone whose conduct is deemed unsafe or disorderly. Strobe lights are used during the performance. The wearing of a covid mask is welcomed during the performance, but not required.
Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. No one under the age of 13 is permitted entry to Jack’s House.
*At your scheduled check-in time, head directly to the museum entrance. You are welcome to arrive at the top of the hour before your scheduled check-in time (for example, 6:20 check-ins may arrive as early as 6pm). Late arrivals will not be permitted.
