Highlights Recovery Success with a Kickoff Brunch

BrightView Health’s addiction treatment center invites the community to learn more about effective outpatient addiction treatment in Chesapeake. The Kickoff Brunch will take place on Saturday, August 31st, 8 am -11 am. Located at 209 Research Dr., Ste. 102, Chesapeake.
The Kickoff Brunch is to thank the community partners that continue to make contributions to recovery in the Chesapeake area, invite the community for a tour of the center and learn more about BrightView Health Chesapeake Addiction Treatment Center.
International Overdose Awareness Day allows addiction professionals an opportunity to raise awareness, celebrate recovery community members and ensure that everyone has access to services, including treatment and necessary support readily available.
“The Brightview team is committed to helping people recover,” said Timothy Howard, Community Outreach Manager. “We are here to help communities thrive and patients get the help they need. We treat you like a person, and we treat addiction like a disease.”
There will also be opportunities to talk with Timothy Howard, BrightView Health Chesapeake Community Outreach Manager, about a wide range of issues, including:
• What is “effective” addiction treatment?
• How to continue reducing substance use disorder in Chesapeake
• What patients think is crucial to successful recovery.
• In-depth tour of the center and the steps taken when a person walks through the door.
