The Horseneck Era of Land Disputes & Riots- 1664-1766
The Library and the Historical Society of West Caldwell welcomes local historian Paul Pollio to discuss the Horseneck Riots which began on September 19, 1766. Mr. Pollio, whose family dates back over 300 years in West Caldwell and Fairfield, will also present on the settlement and land disputes in the area.
Mr. Pollio studied history and journalism at Bloomfield College and is a member of the Fairfield Historical Society.
