Settlers Inn hosts a special four-course outdoor dinner in the woods to sample, sip and speak with industry chefs, farmers, and experts about how our local food travels from farm to fork and the positive impact of sourcing, supporting, and eating local. Topics to be explored include the importance of nourishing the planet as much as we nourish ourselves, the significance of farming because farmers are a critical ingredient to the local recipe for nutritional and sustainable success and how supporting places like Cooperative grocery stores should be the standard and norm as opposed to larger grocery store chains. Impresario Judy Wicks, Executive Chef Bonnie Shuman and Farmer Nina Berryman collaborate for a special evening to celebrate and educate.
