Qigong is a system of breathing and individual exercise designed to benefit physical and mental health. 8 Treasures Qigong (Eight Brocades) is a practiced form of medical qigong used for health restoration and enhancement. The exercise dates to the Song Dynasty (circa 1150 AD).
8 Treasures Qigong + Balance (standing or seated) is an on-going class. Walk-ins welcome.

Best to start in Feb. if you are new to tai chi.
Tai chi practice is a sequence of slow gentle martial arts movements and physical postures. Tai Chi = Martial Arts + Qigong
Tai chi and qigong can improve strength, range of motion, and overall physical function. Benefits for fall prevention are likely due to improvements in strength and balance. They also boost immunity and reduce chronic inflammation.
