SCHOOL SPIRIT MATCH: Gotham FC vs. Seattle Reign FC
Class is in session! Gotham FC is celebrating the back-to-school season with its School Spirit Match on Sunday, October 5 at 4:00 PM against Seattle Reign FC. Whether you’re repping your alma mater or your current school, show off your colors and cheer on Gotham as they school the competition.
Highlights of the game include:
• ALUMNI GROUP PRE-MATCH PARTY: alumni groups can come out pre-match to network and celebrate school pride with food, prizes and more. Space is limited – book your group’s spot at [email protected].
• COLLEGE TEAM AND CAPTAIN RECOGNITION: college soccer teams will receive discounted group rates on their tickets, and team captains will be recognized on the field pre-match or during halftime. Reach out to [email protected] if interested.
Please note that for this match, PATH service will be suspended between Harrison and Journal Square stations due to construction. PATH will be providing free shuttle buses between Harrison and Journal Square and between Newark-Penn Station and Journal Square.
You can also purchase tickets for the GFC Express for a roundtrip ride – picking up in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Long Island City.
One of the top women’s soccer clubs in the world, Gotham FC has a star-packed roster that includes U.S. Women’s National Team players, World Cup winners, Olympic medalists and European and South American champions. Gotham won the 2023 NWSL Championship and reached the semifinals in 2024 after the most successful regular season in club history. In 2025, Gotham FC made history by winning the inaugural 2024–25 Concacaf W Champions Cup.
