EAST COAST RIVALRY CONTINUES: Gotham FC vs. Washington Spirit
The match will celebrate the one-year anniversary of the club’s social impact program Keep Her in the Game (KHITG), presented by Dove, a research-backed initiative created to address the disproportionate rate at which adolescent girls opt out of sports. Dove partner and media personality Kylie Kelce will mark the occasion by leading the prematch coin toss and participating in a demonstration of the program’s impact.
Additional highlights of the game and celebration include:
• Togethxr and Gotham will cohost a prematch party for fans beginning at 10:00am at Keepers restaurant, bar and coffee shop across the street from Sports Illustrated Stadium. Along with giveaways, fans that RSVP will get their first drink for free on Gotham.
• Starting at 10:30am., Fan Fest presented by CarMax will feature bouquet-making, giveaways, a photo booth, merch, and the debut of Dove’s Confidence Wall.
• Grammy Award-winning singer Ciara will light the ceremonial pregame torch, with youth wrestler Honor Smoke serving as torch bearer.
