Love vs. Attachment: A Buddhist Perspective, Saturday, February 18th, 10:00am – 12:30pm, at Odiyana Buddhist Center, 450 New London Turnpike, Glastonbury, with Resident Teacher Gen Khedrub. Buddha taught that love is the great protector. Both we ourselves and others are protected by love from harmful actions and suffering, and a loving heart inspires us to treat others with consideration and kindness. However, our love is often mixed with attachment, which makes us possessive, anxious and easily hurt. Come explore Buddha's wisdom teachings on how to discern the difference between love and attachment, and learn methods to weaken our attachment while improving our mind of love. Cost: $25.
