The Fall of 1780 was a tough time for George Washington and the Continental Army. Money was tight, supplies were short, enlistments were down, and Washington had just been betrayed by one of his most trusted officers. He and Lafayette devised a plan to turn things around; a plan that led to the center of Montclair. Presented by Montclair Township Historian and Montclair History Center Board of Trustees Mike Farrelly.
