Overeaters Anonymous meets Tuesday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the outreach center of Holy Child Jesus Church.
COME ON DOWN . What do you have to lose except weight.
all meetings are open to those who wish to lose weight.
We are a not for profit, friendly group that meets to discuss and overcome our patterns of overeating.
All are welcome. We have divided the meetings into rotating topics each week.

The address is 112-06 86th Avenue,Richmond Hill ny 11418 between Jamaica and 86th Avenues. accessible via J train,or Q56 bus to 112 st. then 1 block north from Jamaica Avenue.
The entrance is through the side door on 86th Avenue and down five steps. Unfortunately we are not wheelchair accessible.
The first, third, and fifth meetings of the month are beginner's meetings.
The second is a step and tradition meeting using the OA 12/12 book. The fourth meeting is a Big book meeting. We alternate between the Overeaters Anonymous Brown book and AA Big Blue books each month.
We are a support group.
There are no groups that appreciate the insidiousness of the disease of overeating and isolation that we do to ourselves. Do yourself a favor and come and leave the fridge and crinkly bags behind.
The telephone is a safe machine and is monitored once a day. I return all calls when requested and a return number is left on the machine.
During the pandemic we have restarted face to face meetings with social distancing and wearing a face mask is required. There is no smoking in the building.
