OUR BAR is set to present their next performance, 'Team' where the writers must come together and join forces to create this completely original show. Each scene will have the talents of two, three, four or more writers behind it. No solo submissions this time around! Come see what has been called 'The Best thing to do in a bar!' (Theater In the Now) and 'The Best $10 you'll spend in New York!' (Whoa Magazine).
Since its inception in 2009, OUR BAR has become a staple in the original immersive theatre scene. Creating a new selection of scenes and monologues every month, the OUR BAR collective consists of over 80 writers and actors who create original monthly shows which reflect the bizarre, lovely, dangerous, beautiful NYC bar scene. Audience members grab a drink, find a seat and watch the stories unfold. With no 'fourth wall,' OUR BAR is often described as a month's worth of bar antics artfully shoved into one hour, and like any great night out on the town, each show is unique.
