Montclair Film StorySlam: “THANKS, BUT NO THANKS”
Whether you have something to say, or just want to listen, you won’t want to miss the return of Montclair Film’s StorySLAM! Each participant will have six minutes to relay their unique version of the theme. After presenting to a supportive audience, a team of judges will evaluate and score each story.
Doors open at 7:00pm. Alcoholic beverages and concessions will be available for purchase.

Maybe it was a job offer that looked great on paper—but felt all wrong. A relationship that could’ve worked out, but didn’t. Or the Thanksgiving dinner where the turkey wasn’t the only thing getting roasted. From polite declines to flat out rejections, tell us about the moment you had to draw the line, trust your gut, or smile through gritted teeth and say, “Thanks... but no thanks.”
