What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
For 15 years Camp Generations has offered our campers arts and crafts, softball, basketball, soccer, cheerleading, fashion club, photography club, talent shows, and daily field trips. We have pizza parties to glow parties, carnival wet fete, ’70s and ’80s disco parties, eating contests, and dance classes.
What is the experience customers can expect?
Parents will have the opportunity to reflect on the wonderful experience of summer camp through their children’s smiles each day and their eagerness to attend camp each morning throughout the summer. Our camp creates an awesome talent show which involves modeling, dancing, singing, and drama.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
To give the families of New York City a safe, nurturing, economic alternative for a great summer experience for their kids and to provide a calendar of outstanding, fun, and awesome activities for campers to enjoy. Our motto is “The snow has melted, school is over—let’s have a fun summer.”
What do you love most about your job?
Creating employment for young people during the summer and providing a safe, nurturing environment for our staff and campers.
