Celebrate Juneteenth Community Festival on June 19, 2026 at PotBelly NOLA in New Orleans
Operation Restoration's 4th Annual Juneteenth Community Festival features a day of entertainment, resource fair, food, diaper distribution and support with voter registration. The event is free to the community.
To commemorate the date in 1865 when enslaved Black people in Galveston, TX finally found out they were free, the New Orleans nonprofit connects the community with meaningful resources.
Festival-goers can connect with organizations offering pro bono advice about expungement and other legal issues, HIV and STI testing, notary services and other community resources. In addition, there are hot meals and food boxes, kids activities and live music.
