Music Lineup
Elijah Hartman & Band
A brilliant jazz vocalist and arranger, Elijah brings a vibrant energy to jazz standards from the 1920s to 60s. With roots in New York, Puerto Rico, and New Orleans, his performance bridges tradition and modernity — blending jazz, Broadway, and soul with Parisian flair. Elijah has performed across New Orleans and internationally, and is praised for his powerful voice, captivating scatting, and deep connection to Black American music.
Les Jakobins
A unique musical journey into the revolutionary moments of France, Haiti, and Louisiana. This performance weaves together historical texts and live orchestral music, exploring the ideas, voices, and sounds of transformative eras. The repertoire includes reimagined works by Gottschalk, Joseph Bologne (Chevalier de Saint-George), Georges Lewis, Charles Mingus, and others — blending classical, Caribbean, and New Orleans jazz traditions.
