Washington Announces 3rd Annual Music on the Green Series; Seeks Musical Acts
For over 280 years, the Green in Washington, CT has been a prime gathering space in northwest Connecticut. The site of countless events – from tag sales to tai chi, baseball, art shows and more – the Washington Town Green is also the home of the annual Music on the Green series.
Last summer’s series saw hundreds of music fans from all over the state gather together in this idyllic setting to listen to a variety of musical acts while enjoying a homemade picnic or one made by Washington’s fabulous PO Cafe.
Washington’s Music on the Green summer series continues on Friday Nights in June and July from 6:30 to 8:00 pm (kicking off June 9th). We currently seek high-energy, polished, family-friendly performers of any musical genre. Selected artists will perform a 60-to-90-minute set.
If you, your band, or group are interested in sharing your musical talents on the Washington Green one Friday night this coming June or July, please follow our submission guidelines by March 31, 2023 to be considered (https://bit.ly/MOG2023).
