The Seymour Library will host the Astronomical Society of New Haven for an evening of stargazing. This free event will have ASNH volunteers bringing their telescopes to guide us through the sky.
The stargazing will take place in the Library's lower parking lot out in the open air. Blankets, chairs and flashlights in the red spectrum are recommended while enjoying the astronomical views and educational experience.
Because this is an outdoor event and it is New England in the fall, please check the status of this event. If the weather is bad due to rain, snow or more than 50% cloud cover the event will postponed to the following Friday --October 18th 7 pm to 10 pm. To check the status of the event phone the Library at 203-888-3903, or check the Library's webpage or the Library's Facebook page. No registration is needed for this program.
