Rennie Harris Puremovement American Street Dance Theater presents 'Nuttin' but a Word'
Rennie Harris Puremovement American Street Dance Theater will perform "Nuttin' but a Word" on Tuesday, April 30 - free with registration and open to the public. This critically-acclaimed work pushes the boundaries of street dance movement vocabulary and the evolving stories about our neighborhoods. It inspires audiences to view street dance culture through an appreciative lens while challenging viewers' perspectives on street and Hip-hop dance. Immediately following the performance, Brian Seibert, Yale Theater and Performance studies lecturer and New York Times dance critic, will moderate a conversation and audience Q&A session with the artists. Rennie Harris Puremovement’s visit includes a public dance masterclass in the Schwarzman Center's Dance Studio on Sunday, April 28, offered as part of the Center’s EveryBody Dances at Yale Schwarzman Center series.
