Gioia Rooftop Space Grand Opening on Wooster Street in New Haven
Gioia, a restaurant, market, and gelateria located at 150 Wooster Street, New Haven, will open its rooftop dining and bar space on Thursday, June 20, 2024. The three-season, 1900-square-foot space will offer a unique menu for diners of all ages, featuring seasonal food and beverages in a casual and fun environment. Since its opening in Fall 2023, Gioia has received accolades from Yankee Magazine, Food & Wine, Hearst Connecticut, and more. The rooftop menu will include crudo options, shareable antipasti, fresh and seasonal salads, pastas, paninis, and Gioia’s unique version of grandma-style square pizza, called “Wooster Squares.” The “Pachink Pachunk” option will feature a selection of spreads with grilled sourdough for the table. Desserts will celebrate the season with sweet, savory, fruit, or chocolate flavors to satisfy every guest’s palate. The beverage program will feature a rotating selection of fresh and seasonal cocktails, categorized as bubbly, bright, bold, or Ristorativo, designed to be enjoyed al fresco in a playful, warm environment.
