The Durham Fair returns September 24–27, 2026, bringing four unforgettable days of agriculture, entertainment, food, family fun and community tradition to Durham, Connecticut.
As Connecticut’s largest agricultural fair, the Durham Fair has been bringing generations together since 1916. What started as a small community gathering has grown into one of New England’s must-visit fall events, while staying true to its agricultural roots and volunteer spirit.
There’s something happening around every corner. Explore the livestock barns, see thousands of exhibits and competitions, experience agricultural demonstrations, visit the Discovery Center and Farm Museum, catch exciting motorized events, enjoy midway rides and games, and come hungry for all the classic fair food you’ve been waiting for all year.
And the entertainment? It’s included with your Fair admission!
The Durham Fair features FOUR stages of live entertainment throughout the weekend, with music and performances for just about every taste. Best of all, there’s no separate concert ticket required. Your Fair admission includes access to the entertainment.
This year’s Main Stage lineup features two incredible nights:
Friday, September 25: QUEEN NATION
Experience the music of Queen with one of the country’s premier Queen tribute bands. Get ready for an energetic night packed with the legendary songs you know and love.
Saturday, September 26: TYLER HUBBARD
Country music star Tyler Hubbard takes the Main Stage Saturday night. From his chart-topping career as one half of Florida Georgia Line to his hit solo career, Hubbard brings one of the biggest nights of country music to Durham.
Beyond the Main Stage, you’ll find live music and entertainment across three additional stages throughout the Fair. Wander the grounds and you never know what you’ll discover next.
Of course, you can’t have the Durham Fair without agriculture. Meet the animals and the people who raise them, watch livestock competitions, experience horse and oxen pulls, explore exhibits created by talented local residents, and discover the traditions that have been at the heart of the Fair for more than a century.
Families will find plenty to do, too, with kid-friendly activities, educational exhibits, rides, games, demonstrations and hands-on experiences. And for those looking for a little more horsepower, the Fair’s popular motorized events bring plenty of action and excitement.
Then there’s the food.
From longtime Fair favorites and nonprofit food booths to fried dough, sweet treats and savory classics, eating your way around the Durham Fair is practically an event of its own. Many local nonprofit organizations rely on the Fair as one of their biggest fundraisers of the year, so that delicious stop may be supporting a great local cause, too.
The Durham Fair is also proudly powered by volunteers. Hundreds of community members come together each year to make this four-day celebration possible, helping preserve a tradition that has been part of Durham for more than 100 years.
Whether you come for the animals, the food, the rides, the exhibits, the music, the motorized events or simply the unmistakable feeling of a great New England country fair, there’s a reason people return to Durham year after year.
Four days. Four stages. Thousands of exhibits. Incredible food. Big-name entertainment. One very special Connecticut tradition.
