The City Youth Theater and City Stage Company of Waterbury are thrilled to announce their upcoming summer production of Disney's The Little Mermaid. Join us at Crosby High School for a captivating journey under the sea on August 1, 3, 4, 9, 10, and 11. All performances will take place at Crosby High School, located at 300 Pierpont Rd, Waterbury, Connecticut 06705. The venue offers an ideal setting for this family-friendly production, complete with excellent acoustics and comfortable seating.
Helming this enchanting production is the talented director Olivia Carew, whose innovative vision and passion for storytelling will bring Ariel's underwater world to life. Olivia's direction guarantees a fresh and engaging experience for audiences of all ages. Nick Bates, serving as both Assistant Director and Choreographer, brings his expert touch to the stage. Nick's vibrant choreography will transform the production into a lively, dynamic spectacle, filled with the magic of dance. Providing the musical enchantment is Tigger Klussendorf, the Music Director. Tigger's leadership will guide a live orchestra, delivering the timeless songs and score of The Little Mermaid with extraordinary skill and passion. The live orchestral performance will add a rich, immersive layer to the beloved Disney classic.
