HOLIDAY EXPRESS 2024 MODEL TRAIN EXHIBIT COMING TO ‘DICKENS OF A CHRISTMAS’ - DEC 14-15 IN FRANKLIN TN. THIS WORKING N SCALE MODEL TRAIN LAYOUT IS FREE & OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. Young and old alike will enjoy this opportunity to: Be nostalgic Stop by Watch Ask questions The Tennessee T-Trak associates has members from Tennessee and Northern Alabama that build portable T-Trak modules to the T-Trak standard so they can be assembled into a working layout for public events. All that is needed is an open space, banquet tables and a power source. Members bring their own trains that can be run remotely. TIME & PLACE: The Holiday Express 2024 Model Train Exhibit will be set up in the Lobby of the Williamson County Archives and Museum (511 West Main Street on the corner of Main Street and Columbia Avenue in Franklin, TN) December 14 From 10 AM until 6 PM December 15 From 11 AM until 5 PM This public exhibit features detailed dioramas of varying themes with operating model trains traveling over 200 feet of trackage. Several of the dioramas, or modules, have won national awards. Our young visitors, or junior engineers, are given the opportunity to take control of a train using a cell phone or tablet. This marks the third year that Tennessee T-Trak has participated during Dickens of a Christmas, one of 4-6 such exhibits a year our members look forward to.
