Blair Master Series: The Blakemore Trio
Blair School of Music presents a Master Series performance by the Blakemore Trio with guest violist David Samuel, Wednesday, March 19, 2025, 8:00 p.m., in Turner Recital Hall. The trio features Carolyn Huebl, violin; Felix Wang, cello; and Amy Dorfman, piano.

The Blakemore Trio will be joined by Blair’s new viola faculty, David Samuel, for Johannes Brahms’ masterpiece, the piano quartet in G minor. The first half of the program features two works dating back one hundred years ago- Dmitri Shostakovich’s first piano trio written in his teenage years and the duo for violin and cello by Czech composer Irwin Schulhoff.
