St. Timothy Lutheran Church Unveils Blessing Box to Serve Hendersonville Community
Hendersonville, TN - November 10, 2023 - St. Timothy Lutheran Church is thrilled to announce the official opening of the St. Timothy's Lutheran Church Blessing Box, a community initiative aimed at providing essential resources to those in need. The ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for Tuesday, November 28th, at 1:30 pm, and will take place at the church's location on 650 E Main Street, Hendersonville, TN. While the Hendersonville Public Library has a Blessing Box, it is in the library and only available during library hours. The Blessing Box at St. Timothy will be Hendersonville’s first 24/7 Blessing Box.
The Blessing Box project is a testament to St. Timothy’s commitment to fostering a sense of community and addressing the needs of our neighbors. This innovative, community-driven initiative aims to offer non-perishable food items, personal care products, and other essential supplies to individuals and families facing economic hardships.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony will mark the official launch of the Blessing Box, and community members, local officials, and media representatives are invited to join in this joyous occasion. The event will feature a blessing by Rev. Jennifer Michael, and a ceremonial ribbon cutting with Mayor Jamie Clary.
