Podcast Party Episode 003: Setting the Scene
Join Music City Work Club for an interactive podcast filmed live in front of a real audience - starring YOU! For Episode 003, we're 'Setting the Scene': the context, atmosphere, and framing that shape a conversation before a word is even spoken.
Most people starting a podcast think about what they're going to say. The ones who build a real audience think about what their listener is going to see. Episode 3 of the Music City Work Club Podcast Party is all about environment - the visual world you build around your voice, and why it matters more than most creators realize. What makes a podcast visually compelling? Lighting. Background. Color. Depth. Intentionality. These aren't just production details... they're the first thing your audience decides about you before you've said a single word.
The night kicks off with a facilitated conversation about what makes a visual environment interesting, memorable, and authentic to the person in front of the camera. We'll look at examples, break down what works and why, and talk honestly about how to create an intentional visual world without a Hollywood budget. Groups will have the opportunity to design and record a short segment in a scene of their own making, using whatever the building has to offer - backgrounds, lighting adjustments, props, staging. The goal isn't perfection. The goal is intentionality.

Parking at Music City Work Club is FREE! We have spots designated in the gated lot to the left of the building and around the building. Just be sure to enter the event through the main entrance inside the gated lot.
