With an increased capacity and an exciting new location we have upped the ante on this much anticipated Hudson Valley Event. We created an annual award to recognize an individual leader or organization in the Hudson Valley Distillery community and will utilize part of the net proceeds plus contributions from the evening, to award an annual scholarship supporting study of the distillery sciences in the Hudson Valley given in memory of  Gable Erenzo — in acknowledgement and appreciation of Gable and Ralph Erenzo's contributions to the development of the distillery industry in the Hudson Valley.

A much-anticipated tradition in the Hudson Valley, the Robbie Burns Supper and Celebration features an interactive evening with the recitation of Burns' poetry, a traditional pre-fixe Scottish supper with the entrance of the haggis, storytelling, songs, and whisky toasts. "It's all about the party. It's about good food, entertainment and good company."

With your host, the world-renowned Hudson Valley Storyteller, Jonathan Kruk, and Master Piper Jeremy Freeman, the Kilted Juggler John Grimaldi, plus the Honorable Haggis, Whiskey tastings + other Special Guests, the celebration will be an event to remember!

The Hudson House Distillery's chef will continue the culinary tradition by preparing a menu that consists of traditional Scottish dishes: cock-a-leekie soup, "neeps and tatties" (turnips and potatoes mashed together) a Highland beef stew, the honorable Haggis, lemon curd shortbread, plus samplings of Hudson House whiskies. A full bar will be available offering Kolsch and light lager, and Hudson House Distiller's own whiskey's Black Creek Bourbon+ Rye will be available for sale and tastings. Their shop will also be open during the event.

This year the Supper/Celebration will include the requisite Parade or Piping-in of the Haggis, along with the traditional Selkirk Grace, the Toast of the Laddies and the Lassies' Response for a bit of good-natured battle-of-the-sexes humor. Master piper Jeremy Freeman will play the bagpipes; storyteller Jonathan Kruk and other Special Guests will relate some incidents from the life of Burns; and the Kilted Juggler will buckle some swash. Participants are encouraged to bring songs, poems and stories by, about and in the spirit of the Bard of Ayrshire. We will also announce this year's Distillery Award Honoree and at the end, everybody joins in singing Auld Lang Syne, in a context where it makes a lot more sense than on New Year's Eve.
