SCGRR's Graze and Raise
Southern California Golden Retriever Rescue will host our first Graze and Raise fundraising event in Costa Mesa, CA at the unique and amazing venue, Westside Museum, on the evening of October 10, 2022. Funds raised at this event will go to support our highest-cost areas: major medical and permanent foster dogs.
Graze and Raise will be a four-hour ticketed event featuring a very special guest speaker: award-winning author David Rosenfelt! Not only is David a national bestselling charity, but he is also a longtime dog rescuer. We are so thrilled to have him come speak to us; share some tales with us about writing, rescuing, and dogs of course. David will also be signing books, such as his latest release: Holy Chow, An Andy Carpenter mystery. The event will also feature some of SCGRR's special pups, a raffle, silent auction, wine pull, specialty drinks, catered food, and more.
David's latest release, Holy Chow will be available for purchase through Book Carnival prior to the event for your convenience. When you make your purchase through Book Carnival prior to the event your books will be waiting for you at the event when you arrive. Book Carnival will also have David's books - 3 different titles - for purchase onsite at the event as well. Book Carnival has generously offered to donate a portion of the book sales related to this event to SCGRR.
