PACIFIC CITY INVITES THE COMMUNITY TO CELEBRATE INTERNATIONAL DANCE DAY
Pacific City, an open-air, lifestyle shopping, dining and entertainment destination across from the iconic Huntington Beach Pier in Huntington Beach, California (https://www.gopacificcity.com), will celebrate International Dance Day with a series of special performances by award-winning artists and talented local dance groups, including the Huntington Academy of Dance, Tutu School HB, Chinese Dance Academy of Southern California, Southland Ballet Academy, Lyons Academy of Irish Dance, and Island Inspirations Polynesian Dance. For over three decades, International Dance Day has been celebrated on April 29th, the birthdate of Jean-Georges Noverre, the creator of modern ballet, to promote the idea that dance is a universal art form that transcends cultural and political barriers. During this event, there will also be dance lessons and a dance party for the whole family. Pacific City’s celebration of International Dance Day will be an exceptional display of the arts, held from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday, April 29th, on the Level 1 Paver Patio (near Urban Outfitters).
