MAINPLACE TO WELCOME SANTA CLAUS WITH ‘ELF MERRY MARKET’ CELEBRATION
MainPlace, a three-story super-regional shopping center in Santa Ana, California (www.shopmainplacemall.com), today announced plans to welcome Santa Claus back to his beloved “The Elf on the Shelf: Santa’s Magical Photo Adventure” holiday home in Macy’s Court (Level 1) with a festive celebration kicking off the holiday season. Santa’s official arrival takes place on Friday, November 14th, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. during the center’s Elf Merry Market Celebration in Center Court (Level 1), treating families to an evening of live music, gingerbread cookies at the Elf Sweet Treat Station, and a North Pole Style Studio where children can choose a cozy accessory such as a beanie, scarf, mittens or socks to show off their holiday spirit. Guests can also stop by the Toy Workshop to pick a special toy, collect goodies in a branded mini tote bag, and visit the Holiday Bag Charm Bar to create a personalized keychain to attach to their tote. All food, activities and giveaways are first come, first served (while supplies last). Santa will greet children, pose for photos, and officially open his holiday home for the season. The event is free and open to the public; no pre-registration is required. As part of the festivities, MainPlace invites the community to help local families stay warm this season by participating in the nationwide One Warm Coat “Share the Warmth” campaign, sponsored locally by Centennial, the firm that owns and operates the center. Guests who bring a new or gently used coat to donate during the event will receive a MainPlace fleece blanket as a thank-you (while supplies last).
