2025 Artability Art Show & Sale

The 2025 Artability Art Show & Sale is an annual celebration of creativity, resilience, and community. The event showcases hundreds of original works created by adult artists who use art as a powerful tool for healing and mental health expression. Free and open to the public, the show invites visitors to experience the artwork firsthand and purchase pieces to support both the artists and the continuation of Artability’s programming. Artists receive 75% of the income generated from the sale of their artwork, with the remaining 25% reinvested into People Incorporated’s free, year-round Artability workshop programming to continue fostering creativity and community wellness. New this year, the event will also feature a special youth art display showcasing the voices and creativity of young artists. These pieces are not for sale but offer an inspiring glimpse into the next generation’s perspectives through art. This year’s theme “Tell Your Story” is more than just a phrase. It is an invitation to heal, connect, and be seen. Art provides a powerful way to express experiences of pain, strength, growth, and hope. By making space for these stories, we foster empathy, celebrate resilience, and remind one another that every voice matters. About Artability Artability, one of People Incorporated’s flagship programs, fosters creativity and provides a platform for individuals to express themselves through art. Offering free workshops in Minneapolis, St. Paul, and the surrounding communities, Artability creates a welcoming, judgment-free space that emphasizes self-expression, healing, personal growth, and joy. Workshops are open to all experience levels and include access to art materials and support from professional teaching artists. Participants explore a wide range of mediums while connecting with others in a supportive environment. Many artists go on to share their work in the annual Artability Art Show & Sale. Artability is open to anyone who finds mental health healing and joy through making art - no diagnosis or doctor’s note required.
