Rosemount Community Band Free Fall Concert
Enjoy the music of the Fall holidays at the Rosemount Community Band’s (RCB) free concert on Sunday, October 27, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. at The Well, located at 14770 Canada Avenue West in Rosemount. The concert is free and open to the public, and attendees are invited to bring donations of diapers and non-perishable food.
Featured selections will highlight Veterans Day and Halloween and will include: “United States Armed Forces Salute”, “Music for A Darkened Theater”, and “Where Never Lark or Eagle Flew”, in addition to other exciting and enjoyable band pieces.
The all-volunteer RCB, which started in September 2011, is composed of adult musicians from Rosemount, Apple Valley, Eagan and other areas of the south metro. Members range in age from the 20s through the 80s, have various skill levels and all share a love of music and performing for the community. The band's director, Tom Maeck, has over 40 years of experience in directing both community and high school bands.
