Restorative Development
In contrast with green and sustainable development that aims to reduce liabilities within a broken system, the restorative approach produces net-positive outcomes at the system level. Restorative development presents a fundamental change in how infrastructure, systems, and governance are measured, managed, and rewarded.
Restorative development produces economies that are inclusive and equitable by design. A fully restorative economy carries 100% equity. It does not have liabilities and, hence, does not need growth to function. (all externalities are accounted for and included in cost)
