Fundraiser for the Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration (AFTD) - Hosted by Gary's FUB
Join Gary’s FUB Team to fight a rare and devastating form of dementia - frontotemporal degeneration (FTD). FTD is a rare brain disorder that causes impairment in personality, language, behavior and/or movement. It is a progressive disease with onset occurring most often in the 40’s – 60’s and thus impacts family and finances in a way that more common forms of dementia do not.
Included with admission:
- Guest speaker on genetic FTD - Dr. Vijay Ramanen- Behavioral Neurologist and Investigator with the Mayo Clinic Research Center
- Heartfelt testimony from a local FTD caregiver/family member
- Local dementia-related service provider information tables
- Raffle and silent auction
- Buffet Dinner
- Live music
Since 2017, Gary’s FUB Team has raised over $100,000 for the Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration (AFTD). All proceeds support local families living with FTD and fund critical research.
