Augsburg Centennial Singers in Concert
The Augsburg Centennial Singers are a 43-voice male chorus. These “Men of Faith Passing on the Faith Through Songs of Praise” come from various walks of life drawn together by their love of singing. They will be presenting a concert on Sunday, October 6th at 3:00 PM at St Philip’s Lutheran Church, 1401 15th Street West, Hastings, MN 55033.
The group was formed in 1993 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the first gospel quartet from Augsburg College to sing in Norway. The Singers have traveled to present concerts in Norway, Florida, and the Southwestern United States throughout its history.
Music for the concert includes familiar hymns, songs of praise, gospel selections and patriotic music. Come and enjoy an afternoon of stimulating music!
