Jackson, an active member for thirty years and a minister for thirteen years. In his role as associate minister he assisted several senior Pastors and was dedicated to providing companionate and wise support to numerous individual members and the congregation as a whole. Reverend Jackson has been active in the community serving on the Board of the Survival Skills Institute International where he mentored young entrepreneurs start five social enterprise businesses. Reverend Jackson who is retiring from his Associate minister role at the age of eighty eight will be recognized at the 10:00 a.m. church service and during a luncheon to follow at 11:30 a.m.
