Southdale Center Revs Up for Vehicle Day
Vehicle Day, presented by Southdale Center, the City of Edina, and City of Richfield – Local families can see, sit inside, and enjoy fun photo ops among a fleet of official vehicles, including firetrucks, police squad cars and motorcycles, an ambulance, a CC TV truck, log loader, tow trucks, and an Army Jeep, among others.
Participating organizations include the Edina Police Department, which recently re-opened its police substation at Southdale in a new location near the Hennepin County Service Center. There’ll also be vehicles from the Edina Fire Department, Edina Public Works, Richfield Police and Fire Departments, Bloomington Public Health, and Edina Sustainability Division.
Mall retailers and community partners will have booths with giveaways, spin-to-win prizes, children’s activities, and more.
