Beyond I'm Sorry: How to Support Grieving Loved Ones
Have you ever felt like you said the wrong thing when offering support to a friend navigating grief? Do your offers of help go unanswered? Have you been unsure of what to say and end up saying nothing at all?
You are not alone.
Join Compassionate Transitions, LLC on January 31, 2026, for a virtual workshop designed to empower everyone in the community to provide meaningful support. Taught by Beth Wise, MS, this workshop will provide an overview of the types of grief/grief theory, bust myths about grief, explain why common phrases are harmful and what to say instead, and explain the power of active listening. After the workshop, attendees will be empowered to journey alongside their loved one instead of trying to solve a problem that cannot be fixed.
