Immerse yourself in rich music and the historic sites of one of Edina’s most iconic landmarks and come to the Edina Historical Society’s first ever Concert at the Grange Hall! Enjoy the timeless, Americana musical style of award-winning musician Sarah Morris, with special guests The Friend Ship, and learn about Edina’s original village hall. Although Sarah Morris is an active participant of the Twin Cities’ music community, she has performed across the country, making her effervescent voice, soulful melodies, and personal lyrics known nation-wide. Three-time winner of the Midwest Country Music Organization Songwriter of the Year as well as the winner of the famed Kerrville New Folk Competition, Morris has released five albums with her 2024 album Here’s to You winning the Midwest Country Music Organization’s Album of the Year.
The Friend Ship is a group of popular singer/songwriting friends who first got together, along with Sarah Morris, to support Joel Sax’s debut album, ‘Billions of Stars.’ They had so much fun and got such a great response at their sold-out release show that they began taking their show on the road! Starring Matthew French, Marc Severin, Dave Mehling and Joel Sax, they will bring their best songs, sweetest harmonies, and funniest stories to the Grange Hall for a night of beautiful music.
