Many of the Holiday tunes in the show are from a traditional caroling songbook, passed down for generations. When it came time for Kaat to inherit the book, she decided to keep the tradition alive by sharing these songs with her friends, family, and music community in the Twin Cities.Â
Kaat and Kevin met a year ago through the fantastic, local blues-rock band, Ty Pow & The Holy North. Kevin’s piano playing goes beyond mere skill. He creates a feeling, a journey, an environment anyone would want to be a part of. This show is a carefully curated blend of joy, nostalgia, and the meaning of Christmas. Come celebrate the warm sounds of the seasons with us at Metronome Brewery, December 10th, 6:30- 8:30 pm.
