Step into the mysterious, majestic world of owls this fall with OWLS, a one-of-a-kind art exhibition celebrating these enigmatic birds through multiple artistic lenses. From haunting photography and expressive paintings to evocative sculpture and indigenous artifacts, this show brings together diverse media and voices — and even a jade owl and a taxidermy owl!
What you’ll see
-Stunning photographs capturing owls in their natural habitat, in flight, or in peaceful repose.
-Sculptures that explore owl form, texture, and myth.
-Paintings range from abstract to realistic.
-Indigenous artifacts that honor the owl’s place in cultural traditions.
-Rare objects of nature and art, such as a jade owl and an actual taxidermy owl!
Special partnerships & youth art
-Artwork from the International Owl Center (Houston, MN), including selections from their International Kid’s Owl Art Contest / Youth Owl Art Show, celebrating emerging artists from around the world.
-Young artists from St. Therese School, Deephaven will also be featured, sharing their visions of owls through drawings, paintings, and other creative media.
