Jeremiah Program to host inaugural Legacy Conversation Fireside Chat on Wed., May 21 in Minneapolis
The Jeremiah Program (JP) recently launched its inaugural Legacy Award, and will recognize and celebrate three finalists – children (ages 13-25) of JP alumni – who are actively building their own legacies and creating ripple effects of positive change in their communities. The Legacy Award will be bestowed during a hybrid (in-person and livestreamed) event at Legacy Conversation, a fireside chat, on Wednesday, May 21 at the Graduate by Hilton hotel in Minneapolis. The Legacy Award represents the ultimate fulfillment of the non-profit’s two-generation approach to disrupting generational poverty. Chastity Lord, president and CEO of JP, will moderate the fireside chat. She will speak with the first-place Legacy Award winner and their JP alum parent. Short videos highlighting the recipients’ accomplishments will be shown. This hybrid event will be livestreamed across Jeremiah Program’s nine geographic regions – including Minneapolis, St. Paul, Fargo-Moorhead, and Rochester, Minnesota, with another 100-plus in-person attendees at the Graduate by Hilton.
