Art 4 Shelter
Art 4 Shelter showcases over 1,000 pieces of original works donated by generous artists. The artworks are displayed anonymously at Glass House and offered for fixed, affordable prices ($35 for a 5”x7” image, $75 for an 8”x10” image, etc.). Best of all, proceeds benefit Simpson’s shelter and supportive housing programs for people experiencing homelessness.
Attendees are invited to explore and pick whatever art compels them right off the walls, not knowing until after they purchase the piece if it’s been created by an established or an emerging artist. It’s like a treasure hunt, a night of discovery, and a showcase of the talented Twin Cities creative community all in one. The art sale also includes an online auction featuring hundreds of items, including ceramics, jewelry, large original artworks, services from local artists, and more. Participate in person or bid remotely.
Art 4 Shelter will take place at Glass House with music by DJs Ring Toss Twins and jacquesthewaxpoetselector. Enjoy drinks by Glass House, light snacks by CRAVE, and complimentary wine.
First Look Luncheon: 11:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. | Exclusive first look at and chance to purchase original Art 4 Shelter artworks. Enjoy a delicious lunch by CRAVE with complimentary wine. Tickets are $100 each and available at www.simpsonhousing.org/art4shelter.
Evening Art Sale: 6:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m. | Exhibit and sale of original artwork, photography, and ceramics. Browse an amazing collection and discover hidden treasures. Free and open to the public. All are welcome!
