Join us for a reception with the musicians following the concert.
William Shakespeare coined the phrase "star-crossed lovers" in the popular play, "The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet." As we explore this theme, Wagner's "Die Meistersinger" will give the WSO brass section time to shine! Kelly Grill, WSO's 2024-25 Concerto Competition winner, will perform on the marimba, with Prokofiev's "Romeo and Juliet" wrapping up the concert as a dramatic finale.
