RAVE Brass will play at KARE 11’s live filming of their Sunrise show at the “Pep Fest for Payton” on Thursday, August 1, 2024, from 5:00 - 7:00 a.m. The free community pep rally for Payton Otterdahl, Olympic shot putter from Rosemount, will be held in Rosemount's Central Park, located at 2893 145th Street West.
The City of Rosemount, who is hosting the pep rally in Payton’s honor, invites attendees to cheer on Payton, the hometown hero, as he completes in his second Olympic Games in Paris. In addition to live music from RAVE Brass, the brass ensemble of the Rosemount Community Band, the event will include live performances and interviews with special guests from Rosemount High School and the Rosemount area, sign-making to cheer on Payton, the Caffeinated Rooster breakfast food truck, free coffee and cookies, live streaming of the Olympic Games on a big screen, and fun activities for kids, including a police car, a fire truck, the Rosemount Public Safety team, the playground, walking trails and green space. Attendees are encouraged to come and show their support for Payton and Team USA with a morning full of excitement and community spirit. The event will be a great opportunity to rally behind Rosemount's own Payton Otterdahl and celebrate his incredible achievements.
