California Dreamin' at Fall Open Studios

The California Building, a premier arts center located in the heart of the award-winning Northeast Minneapolis Arts District, will be open for California Dreamin’, part of Fall Open Studios organized by the NE Minneapolis Arts District and NEMAA. The six-story building is home to one of the largest concentrations of artists in the District, and nearly 50 artists will open their doors to showcase work in multiple mediums, giving the public a behind-the-scenes look at their process and offering original art for sale. Take advantage of some of the many events in the building throughout the weekend, including live music, hands-on classes, tarot readings, technique demos, book readings, and much more! All activities are family friendly and wheelchair accessible. The building will host the Gastrotruck Food Truck with a selection of delicious options. Mojo Coffee, located inside the California Building, will also be open, serving meals, snacks, and fall-themed brewed beverages. Park at the California Building and start your day in the rich, art-filled environment.
