ROGERS, Minn. — May 2, 2026 — Young entrepreneurs will take center stage at the inaugural Rogers Kids Business Fair, a free community event designed to build creativity, confidence and real-world business skills in children ages 4 to 17.
The fair will be held Saturday, May 2, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Rogers Event Center on Main Street. More than 30 youth participants will run their own booths, creating, marketing and selling products and services.
Organizer Peter Mullin said the response from the local business community has been strong. “It’s like a kids lemonade stand on steroids,” Mullin said. “People love seeing kids take initiative and try to earn something on their own.”
Sponsored by Mullin Wealth Management and Mullin Podiatry, the event has also received support from local businesses, the City of Rogers and Mary Queen of Peace Catholic School.
The fair aims to provide hands-on entrepreneurial experience, helping participants develop financial literacy, communication and problem-solving skills in a fun, supportive environment. Organizers emphasize a local, family-focused atmosphere.
In addition to youth-run businesses, Jenna Pollworth Photography will offer a limited number of professional family portraits for attendees – just in time for Mother’s Day.
Children are still welcome to register for a free booth, though a parent or guardian must be present during the event.
The public is encouraged to attend and support the next generation of innovators. Admission is free.
