    04/21/2023 07:30 PM 04/21/2023 08:30 PM America/Atikokan Zen in the Modern World (public talk) The opening talk will be given by Laura Otto-Salaj, Senior Dharma Teacher, followed by a question and answer period with the Zen Master. Zen Master Dae Kwang is the former abbot of the International Kwan Um School of Zen and is the guiding teacher of the Great Lake Zen Center in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. He has led retreats and given teaching in Asia and Europe, as well as throughout the United States. ZMDK’s interests include meditation practices common to Christians and Buddhists. Ordained a Buddhist monk in 1987, he offers clear teaching about the suffering we experience in today’s world.
