About the Artist:
"Fuzzysurf is a genre-hopping indie rock band from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Since forming (via Craigslist, no less), the four-piece has made a name for themselves by delivering smart, melodic songs that blend harmony-heavy vocals, cinematic songwriting, and a love of analog textures all without taking themselves too seriously. Fuzzysurf has built a reputation for their DIY ethos, conceptual music videos, and tightly crafted albums that mix sunshine with shadow. Their songs often arrive sugar-coated — but bite down, and you’ll find sharp commentary beneath the glaze.
Consisting of Sean Lehner (vocals, guitar), Corey Murphy (keyboards), Colin O’Day (drums), and Joe Ludwig (bass), the band quickly broke through with earworms like “Denny,” “Hometown Feeling,” and “She Was Crying Sugar,” earning radio play, critical praise, and festival accolades along the way. Their aesthetic — part British Invasion, part sugary daydream — has drawn comparisons to everything from The Zombies to early Beck."
