Conservation Policy Happy Hour
Join us for a drink and learn about current Wisconsin environmental conservation policies and what you can do to help! Meleesa Johnson, executive director of Wisconsin's Green Fire, will be ready to answer all your conservation policy questions. Wisconsin's Green Fire is an organization conducting science-based research related to conservation of natural resources and environmental protection, and also advancing that research into sound policy. This event is hosted in collaboration with the Natural Resources Foundation of Wisconsin's Wayfarers group. Wayfarers connects young adults to outdoorsy, educational, and adventurous outings in Wisconsin, with the goal of fostering the next generation of conservation stewards. The group also provides a peer network to connect with others who care about Wisconsin’s outdoors through happy hours and socials, and to give back to Wisconsin through volunteering and philanthropy.
