Artist Reception | Heather Eiden | Trees and Their Houses
Join us to meet Milwaukee-based artist Heather Eiden at a reception for her fine art ceramics show, Trees and Their Houses, on Thursday, June 27 from 5:00pm – 7:00pm at Schlitz Audubon Nature Center’s Mezzanine Art Gallery. This event is free for all. Light refreshments and snacks will be served.
Schlitz Audubon Nature Center hosts seasonal art exhibits throughout the year in our Mezzanine Art Gallery. Located on the second floor of our Visitor Center, the gallery showcases local artists who create nature-inspired art in a variety of mediums.
Heather Eiden’s show, Trees and Their Houses, will be displayed in the Mezzanine Art Gallery through Saturday, August 31. The exhibit features ceramics that explore the relationship between buildings and nature. The show is comprised of a body of artwork called House Tiles, featuring an ebb and flow of buildings and nature carved out of clay, uncovering relationships between shape and texture.
